Shell continues to put up more charging stations across the country. After launching the first Shell Recharge station last year and a second one just a few months back, the company has now unveiled another one in Bonifacio Global City.
The new Shell Recharge station is located at Seven/NEO in BGC. It features two AC22kWh charging ports that can charge two vehicles simultaneously. It is also 100% renewable and is the brand’s first-ever 100% geothermal-powered charger in the world.
The Seven/NEO building is the first net-zero portfolio of buildings certified with the Philippine Green Building Council’s (PhilGBC) Advancing Net Zero Philippines and the International Finance Corporation’s EDGE Zero Carbon.
“Shell is already a global leader in the EV space and we are happy to work with our customers and partners across private and public sectors as we decarbonize Mobility and power progress in the Philippines,” said Shell vice president for Mobility Randy Del Valle. “NEO is a leader in sustainable real estate and shares Shell’s vision of a lower carbon future.”
For now, charging at BGC’s new Shell Recharge station is, er, free of charge. For all EV owners out there, you might want to check this one out.
